Now it is the turn of manufacturers

How these emojis are represented depends on, for better or worse, how each manufacturer decides to interpret them. It wouldn’t be the first time that a same emoji seems to say different things If you see it in Android or iOS.

Different styles for the shruggie

Thus, it is increasingly common that some applications of communication and social networks interpret the emoji if same rather than leave the work to the system, as it is the case of WhatsApp or the more recent Facebook. It is the only way to make sure that communication is uniform regardless of which system you are.

It is certain that these emoji will be included in the final version of Android N (in fact, we have seen them in Android N Preview), so don’t worry, is a matter of time that you can use the emoji of bacon and company. Meanwhile, will always be you deploying applications from third parties, emoji keyboard, ROMs and several casual.
